So how you guys see Pascal/Cloud playing out?

Haven't seen a lot of discussion about this fight. . .

Should be a pretty good style-mesh. . Pascal's newfound foot movement on the outside, and being more of an ambush fighter, rather than the "stand in the pocket" puncher we saw against Froch, and Diaconu. . .

Then you got Cloud who is your come forward, aggressive, boxer/puncher (20% boxer 80% puncher) - mid-range hooker type guy. . . Not really an inside fighter, and of course he's not an outside boxer off the back foot (he's pretty useless, and helpless going backwards as we saw). . .

Both guys punch like mules. . . Speed edge is Pascal all day, although Cloud, despite being flat footed, doesn't have THAT slow of hand speed. . .

Both guys have good chins. . .

Stamina edge is favor of Cloud. . . As Pascal has shown he can lose steam, despite fighting in "short bursts". . . While Cloud can keep a steady, 75 punch per round workrate up over 12. . .


I think I favor pascal, by KO actually. . I think Cloud will walk into something huge, put him on ***** street, and Pascal will jump in and finish him off. . Sometime around the 8th.

even in montreal (which is where fight is taking place)? i think if it's that close, Pascal will definitely get the nod. . .

I agree there will be some crucial exchanges. . But I think the judges won't be needed here. . . CLoud will walk into a HUGE right hand. . Pascal flurries him out. . . .

 

good analyses thus far. . . all pretty much can agree on one thing - WAR! WAR will be waged in Montreal on August 11th. . . .

I think Cloud will be the initiator/aggressor in the war. . . But Pascal will be the VICTOR!
