Just curious, anybody know how much Bute/Froch making?

I'm not big on talking about finances, and all that. . But sometimes I am curious about fighter purses, especially overseas to compare/contrast. . A fight of this magnitude, with boxers of similar popularity/drawing power in the states, would probably be making around 900k-1.5 million. . . That's usually a good range for boxer purses on high-profile, free-per-view matches on premium subscription channels like HBO/Showtime. . . .


Is this a PPV in England? I'm guessing Bute is probably getting slightly more of a base purse because he is traveling, and the champion, but Froch might get more upside % (If it's a PPV). . .


My guess: Bute is getting 850k pounds base purse, and 45% PPV. Froch is getting 600k base purse, and 55% PPV. . .

Im sure there are other minor television fees from other countries. . . Froch prolly just said F it, and let Bute have all Romanian tv money. . . Epix is probably forking over 50-100k to show the fight. ..

ANd what about Montreal/Canada? Is there a PPV channel that is showing this fight there?

 

Maybe a little more than that. . . His usual purse was averaging out to be about 2 million per (he signed 3 fight, 6 million contract). . . Not exactly sure how he gets paid out . . Probably slightly bigger purse for each fight. . . Which is why they wanted it to be against Ward for his final payout of the contract. . .


To get him to travel to Nottingham, I bet htey offered him at least 1.3-1.5 million base purse. . .

As far as live attendance, and gate revenue (for the promotors), it's going to be pretty similar in Nottingham, as it is in Montreal. . Maybe not quite as much. . But I bet they'll be around 12k people here. . In Montreal Bute usually has around 15kish. . .
