Mayweather vs Cotto: 4 years too late

was a great fight and people as usual wanna complain and discredit floyd.hilarious

 

-mayweather is not exactly in his prime
-cotto 2008 at 147 is arguebly not as technically pronounced as the current 154 version
-cotto is in his prime

 

Floyd is 4 years older than Cotto so id think the wait hurt him more

 

Both were 4 years older when they fought. Both would have been quicker in 2007.

Still, Floyd ducked the entire welterweight division with that fake retirement during a time when Cotto, Margarito, and Mosley were all beasts.

Floyd debuted as a welterweight in 2005. It took him almost 5 years to fight one of the welters on the list below for the first time.

Not only did Cotto come too late, so did Mosley, and if Pacquiao ever happens, that too. Floyd ducked every elite welter in the division over the past 5 years or so.
