When will people realize that level of opposition means something

he may not be a bum but he was exposed and he was overhyped by his fans to the point where people are ready to go at him when he loses to a supposedly "inferior" fighter. For the longest people were saying he's handle ward, froch, and kessler with ease. Nothing against Bute but his fans deserve the bombs they're getting right now....

I for one was rooting for Froch - fan friendly and got a hot gf

But seriously, I think Bute is good for boxing that he added another layer of interest at 160/168. I have no doubt he can't win versus Ward, even G Johnson but I think he can give the rest trouble.

And let us be honest here, Froch jab and defense are the not prettiest, even amateurish. But he had the right hand going and Bute for some reason could not slide to his left or right to get away from the ropes.

I agree that Bute's previous competition is no where close to the S6 Ward, Froch and etc. But give him credit for stepping up and fighting in the UK.

 

If Bute takes the rematch I expect to see a much different game plan from Bute. Froch actually started with his hands up. Bute should do the same. Neither guy is really fast enough to get away with that against good opposition.

 

Why would you want to see a rematch? Froch threw out his gameplan once he realized that Bute couldn't hurt him. Froch wasn't boxing, he was just stealing on him. That was an old school beat down.
