I'm a huge Bute fan and I was afraid of a ko from first round. Bute can't take punches this is the true and he has no worrior heart but biggest mistake his overconfidance before this fight. After he felt Froch's punches he was totally scared running for his life I have never seen something similar.
I' ve seen Bute in Bucharest and I prayed not to be koed he looked wrong there too. Also I think that he is very emotional.

I feel very sorry for him, he did the best he could. He has no chance against Froch in Canada, he better retire. He can not train that jaw and without that you have nothing at this level of competition.

After this everyone will want a piece of him, but I don t see him recovering after this. He's just a mother's child, it's all over. Very sad story, life can rip you apart anytime in seconds.

Being a Bute fan how can you say that. It was a BAD loss, don't get me wrong but he can come back. So he is not as good as he appeared to be.

BTW yes you can't fix a chin, but you can get better at defence....he was too up for some of those shots. I would like to see a rematch in Canada.

He looked so bad because he was hurt and couldnt mount an offence. Instead of trying to survive and regroup, he invited Froch to do more damage.

It's the kind of earth shattering loss which ends careers im afraid. He's finished.
We know he's not a top fighter

    BUTE IS FINISHED!!!
He never lost just because of Frochs power,he was beaten in every department. He never won a round, and barely landed a shot on Froch. These kind of losse's ruin fighters.Froch would get to him much quicker in a rematch.

What are you talking about??? Retire?!

Bute should fight Andre Ward, who doesn't have enough power to hurt him. I think Bute could win that fight. Ward can dodge head shots, but in 12 rounds he will eventually get hit to the body.

At 32 it's impossible to change much in your game. He was fully prepared, he was at 100%, I want but I can t find any excuse. He is not elite. It was a nightmare watching those rounds and to see that your star is so weak, so thin, so vulnerable, so low. It was a huge difference between them, noone will want to see a rematch. If it would have been the case of some kind of robbery on points or a lucky punch ok, but no this was a total beating. It s ****in over. After this I'll no longer come here.

It looked like Froch was hitting him with a hammer not gloves. How can someone stumble like that from the first punch?? He looked like someone taken from the street and thrown in the ring.

    Ward would ko him also.

Congratulations for all of you that saw Bute is not the real deal.

I think this kind of weakness is in our romanian genes. Remember Leodard Dorin Doroftei how he lost to Gatti and after that he didnt make the weight in Bucharest in his last bout and retired?

I m 100% Bute will retire, he don t have the spirit to walk over this and also he don t have to go on because at elite level his chances ar zero, everyone knows that now.

In these circumstances who will want to buy a ticket to see him again live even in Canada? Nooooone, his fanbase will drop like 90%. I m feelin deep in sorry for him.

He is a glass jaw fraud. My heart is bleeding saying this but that s the truth. All this years i was wrong and almost every day i was thinking at Bute. I feel like some close friend died last night.

It's time for Bute to think more of himself as a person rather than a boxer. He is one of the few of his age that ain't got a wife and a kid. He was married to the gym this whole time.
Lucian must keep a bunch of real friends with him and get rid of the leechers that surround him.
He shouldn't rush with a decision regarding his boxing career before the end of the year (no way is he to take the rematch).
If the Canadian fans still support him and he feels he still has it in him then he should take a couple of matches there. If he ain't that a Canadian citizen anymore, as he was prior Froch fight, he should immediately hang the gloves.
If he thinks he should sacrifice his health just to prove anything he is wrong. A lot of fans have already left him. I am sure about most of the Romanian ones. Bute can no longer feed their ego. Why put your health on line for them Lucian?
I'm behind him no matter his decision. First I'm a fan of Lucian Bute the person and only second of Lucian Bute the boxer.
