We forget how respectful Bute and his trainer were.

It's all very easy to get excited about Froch's win but lets not overlook a few things:

    1) Bute came to Froch's home

    2) Bute cheered the crowd after he was KO'd

    3) Bute's trainer was very respectful to team Froch and made no excuses.

I know everyone is pumped but we also need to take stock of a good champion and a good trainer in team Bute. I think this loss will make Bute stronger; he will focus and improve.

Eddie Hearn tweeted he was having a drink with Bute and his trainer after the fight, said they were a pleasure to work with all the way through.

They did an interview with Bute's trainer on British tv ... and quite honestly he seemed like a really decent intelligent guy without any bad losing attitude. Gracious in paying Froch compliments.

Yeah, I spotted that too. A sign of a professional unlike some of the trash talking bad attitudes you get frequenting the ring nowadays . I still think Bute is a great fighter, Froch rattled him early and he couldn't recover, A more defensive and movement-based approach on Bute's part could of made this a different fight, but unfortunately it never happened. i reckon Bute could still be competitive with Ward, more so than Froch with his style. Not saying he can beat him but it i have a feeling it would be a good match up.

After the disgraceful comments from Juanma Lopez it's definitely a pleasure to see Bute and his team handle the loss like real men. Some people would have tried to get a DQ in light of what happened with Froch's promoter jumping in the ring.

Bute showed a lot of class after defeat, esp in the ring after the fight.

People are really disrespecting him now saying he was a hype job but I think he can come back and get a big win in the divison/

For sure ! This fight was a WIN on so many levels. IT was really a pleasure to witness a fight like this. Both side were great, both guys are good. Really happy with this fight. And I would have been happy if Bute had won it fairly too, by the way.

We boxing fans are the biggest winner of this all.

This is how I felt, besides devastated. But all in all you could see in Lucians eyes when the bell rang he was not leaving that ring on his feet.

Froch saw it too and made it happen. Bute graciously admitted defeat and that the better more prepared guy won on the night.

Let's hope we get a good rematch, maybe in MSG late summer. Give Bute some time to refocu and give Froch a nuetral venue on which to defend HIS IBF title.:deal
