Are the majority of you ****ing down syndromes or what?

Frampton boxed well last night, showed a bit more class in the last 3 or 4 rounds, I'm glad he got the rounds in.

Not exactly a fighter that is going to blast his way through the division.

Frampton needs to up his work-rate from where I was watching. He needs to throw some combinations and be more busier. Last night was an anti-climax. It was boring to watch from start to finish, and its not the way to become a star.

That said he still has the time to adjust things. Wouldn't write the lad off just yet.

He threw 500 punches, which isn't all that bad, he was just pacing himself.

I wouldn't waste your breath fella.

If he had knocked Hirales out last night the Mexican would have been delcared 'a bum', the fight a 'waste of time' and Frampton a fraud.

Actually boxing in a way that he hadn't had to before, doing it really successfully and showing a different dimension to his game. There's no pleasing some people. He completely controlled the fight off the back foot, threw a lot of punches, landed a good percentage and posted a nice win in his 14th outing.

Didn't get the KO, though, so he's shite obviously. Because unless you knockout people in Rockyesque brawls everytime you fight you're going nowhere.

You'd all much rather he be placed in with a bum so that he can get a knockout and look good?

14 fights though widdy, don't know why they have to rush inexperienced talented young fighters so much. If they can't find any decent super bantamweights then put him in with a few domestic feathers and super-feathers, just so he can find his power and get tough rounds in.

I thought he boxed nicely, showed a few nice moves, and as someone mentioned before - he took that sucker punch nicely. :yep

Im not one to moan about pundits or commentators [unlike most here for which it is a full time hobby] but I thought Jim Watt did rather labour the point about Framptons style in the fight.

Fair enough brings it up once, twice maybe even thrice but it felt like he was trying to interject the point into every single discussion. Let us watch the fight please!

Frampton totally outboxed that Mexican, it wasnt exciting, but it was lovely boxing display and a brilliant experience of getting 12 rounds against a tough unbeaten opponent in front of a massive crowd. TS is a ****in ******.

Carl took 10 rounds to adapt. It was a learning experience but he looked poor. Carl was trying to put some away who wouldn't oblige him when he it was clear he was trying to walk him onto a counter. In the last 2 rounds when the hands came up and he started putting on the hurt on him, it was 10 rounds too alte.

next fight in Belfast in front of his own fans hopefully against Kiko Martinez. That should tell us a lot more about Frampton's level

Frampton is good, in my opinion. The problem is McGuigan constantly telling us how brilliant he is. It's putting pressure on him to put in outstanding performances every time he fights.

Everyone wants to know what the hype is and are dissapointed if he fails to deliver. The reality is that he's still in the learning stages as a pro and quite a bit off world level yet (not that McGuigan would have yout thinking that).

thought he was pretty tight at the weight.

it was roasting on Friday afternoon at the weigh in and Frampton appeared on the stage fully clothed with a jacket, then after he weighed in it took forever for the pre-fight stare down as Frampton was taking ages getting some clothing back on whilst also gulping down a lot of water.
