Are Pacquiao's 40 million dollar excuses good enough for you?

No he wouldn't. He made $50 million with Cotto and would make $50 million with a 50/50 split.

So at a 50/50 split he would make what he made with Cotto while Manny would double his highest payday against Marquez 3 and Cotto of $25 million.:deal:hi:

that's how it works *******, floyd makes records all the time. numbers should go up against hypejob. but that's how it is. floyd brings in the people, he should naturally earn more. pac's just going to be his usual boring self during the promotions while floyd will be working his ass off. he earns it. pac's just a sideshow.

Lol Floyd aint make no damn 50 million against Cotto. . . He made right around 40, and even that I don't know for sure. . . We'll never know unless we see his tax returns. . .

With a 50/50 split, Floyd would still make more than he's made before. . . But lets say Floyd did make 50 million against Cotto; basically you're saying Floyd would rather take on easier opponents to make 50 million, rather than Pacquiao to make that same 50 million . . What's the difference? 50 million is 50 million?

I guess we should support it when guys like Chavez, etc. all choose to keep fighting guys like Manfredo because they can basically make the same amount of money they could fighting Sergio Martinez. . Right?! HELL, lets just give boxer's that excuse! Why take on harder opposition when you can make the same amount of money taking on easier fights!!! YAY!

Why can't some people at least try to remember the reason pac was against random blood testing was because he doesn't want his blood to be extracted near fight night. It was already proven it made him weak. Clearly some people have poor memories or are slow learners. Some even mention about pac's tattoo. Was it done just before fight night? Come on people please try to think even just a little.

AGAIN, AS LONG AS IT IS NOT NEAR FIGHT NIGHT PAC IS WILLING TO DO UNLIMITED BLOOD TESTS EVEN RIGHT AFTER THE FIGHT!!!

So I guess Ottke was justified in fighting in Germany against easier opponents! Why RISK fighting harder opponents when he could have made hte same amount fighting hand-picked guys?!

I guess Bute never should have left Montreal either, right?!

    Bwhahahaha. . . .

Agree. . . But Pac has even agreed to take UNLIMITED blood testing after the Margarito fight. . . So that's not even an issue now. . . He's had that position for almost two years. . .

A nurse can stick you wrong, and **** your **** up. . . It's happened to me

He was willing to give into ALL OF FLOYD's demands: Venue, date, drug testing protocol. . All Floyd had to do was say "50/50" (which is fair - if there was ever a fight that should be 50/50, this is it). . BUT NOPE! Pac already called his bluff with the drug testing, so now Floyd has to put up another wall!

Stupid argument since Pacquiao is not only fighting worse competition but also for less money. (less than 40 mil) i.e.

Pac is taking ~ 25 fighting bradley instead of 40 fighting Floyd.

LOL WUT?!?! Pac, and FLoyd have basically fought the same opponents over the past few years. . . FLoyd got to some first (Oscar, Hatton, Mosley), and Pac got to some first (Marquez, and Cotto). . .

Bradley is pretty much better than anybody (Cotto at this stage) than Marquez (Pac fought him first, two times) FLoyd has fought. . . Save Corrales, and Bradley might be better than him, or at least harder to deal with due to style.

Once again, WE HAVE NO IDEA how much money either of them are making. . FOr a PPV that does similar revenue, I'm sure Floyd is making more, but not NEARLY as much as you *****s would like to believe. . . Maybe 5-7 million more. . .

Until he comes out and at least is talking 60/40 (40 million flat, with NO PPV UPSIDE?!?!) Floyd is the one preventing the fight from happening right now :) That's all. . . THANKS! :hi:

Oh yeah, Floyd took 32 fighting Cotto, instead of 50% of god knows how much revenue, to fight Pacquiao :))))))

But I know what you're going to say: "32 was only his guarantee. . . " Well 26 is only Pac's guarantee against Bradley. . . The PPV revenue will ultimately determine how much they make on top of that. . . BUT ONCE AGAIN, I can't emphasize enough that we have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA how much they are making, other than the guaranteed 26, and 32.
