    Nope, I'd say on the contrary. Him coming in over the agreed weight and beating up a legend who did not belong at the weight when there was better opposition available kinda lowers him in my estimation.

    It's funny because apparently this did nothing for Floyd but has all kinds to do with Manny.

    HOW ABOUT GIVING MARQUEZ HIS DUE RESPECT. HE CAN CONTEND WITH THE BEST AT 147 NOT NAMED FLOYD. HE PROVED IT WITH MANNY.

    Floyd was unranked when he fought Marquez while Marquez was ranked #2 in the world when he fought Floyd.

    Manny was ranked #1 in the world when he fought Marquez while Marquez was ranked #5.

    In both fights, Marquez was the #1 LW in the world.

    Marquez is the perfect example about how Floyd does not get DUE credit.
