The result of Bute v.s. Froch last weekend is shocking the world, but don't worry Bute may make a comeback. We have witnessed the thing like this before, for examples, John Mugabi or Juama Lopez who were undefeated and who were KO artists before they got KO'd for the first time in their lives.

    What you think?

I doubt it. He finally steps up and then gets ktfo! He was smart to avoid the Super 6.

He has bad whiskers and bad defense. Even his offense aint anything special.
Froch hurt him every round and took him out.

(Noporn ? What kind of stupid and gayass nickname is that ? :hat)

I think he can come back, Juan Ma is not a good model though, he indeed came back but got KTFO again !

I don't think he is capable of beating Froch. Froch took his best shots like nothing, while Bute got hurt with every clean shot he was hit with. Bute is nowhere near as good as I thought he was.

No no I'm not a gay. I'm a Thai people and this is a Thai name. Nopporn is my name (not nickname) and it has nothing to do with porn, sex, or pronography.:D

BTW, How about Cotto? Can he be a good example?

A lot of boxing fans are ****ing idiots (that's why I fit in so well) who ignore their own history to the point where they think a guy's automatically done after one ass kicking.

Sometimes the fighter buys into it and it turns into a self fulfilling prophecy, other times they pull themselves out of it. Either way the day after's way too premature to bury the guy or say he'll be back better than ever. We'll see how he bounces back, but Bute's got the mindset to come back at a world class level.

No, Cotto is not a good example. He had been mixing it with the best for his whole career, only losing to a guy with loaded handwraps and the two best boxers in the entire sport.

Bute was just a number 3-4 ranked challenger who stepped up to face a guy higher up in the rankings and was demolished inside of 5 rounds.

He has skills and is a decent fighter, but he was done no favours being kept in Canada fighting against cans. He stepped up way too late and it'll be a struggle to improve and regain the momentum and reputation he once had. He can bounce back, but needs to take careful steps up in class before going in with one of the top guys again.

Only time will tell how he comes back. You can never guess these things.

Yes he can. So can Kirkland, his loss was WAY more humiliating and damaging than Bute's. He still came back and beat El Perro. :good

I think Bute should take Pavlik or Dirrell next. I'm sure he can hurt them both !

PS : you should change your name bro :D

I like the guy and hope he bounces back. But it feels so good to see his fanboys eat crow. I can't tell you how many times I was told that Ward was so afraid of Bute. In my eyes Bute was KO'd by Andrade. Bute shocked me by stopping him in a rematch. So far he's unbeaten in regards to rematches. That's a reach, but hey, don't tell me I'm never optimistic.

A number of people are saying that Bute has a glass chin and can never comeback. But look at Khan, he got destroyed in 1 by Prescott and was widely condemned for getting exposed. A few years later he has made some adjustments and is a top tier fighter. So Bute's chin is not a valid argument why he cannot come again.
I'm a Froch fan by the way.

bootay can go back to doing what he was doing before he faced an elite fighter. if he does that he will be fine.hell he might retire with that one loss, just go back and fight the fights you been fighting.maybe he can get allan green to go back to 168 and try to ko him, maybe he can make taylor move up 168 and try to ko him. maybe bootay can go to 175 and fight nathan, he better do it before hopkins gets a hold of him.

After the Froch fight I think Pavlik is horribly wrong for Bute. Pavlik and Froch have a similar style.
Dirrell is much better stylewise for Bute but I just don't want to see that match. Dirrell is a disgrace for the sport. I don't bash fighters but that guy is way too much of a ****.
His comments regarding Bute after the Forch fight deprive him of any form of humanity. He should fight whomever he desires but I think it would be degrading for any top SMW to share the same ring with him.
