Do you think the ref favored Buster Douglas by counting too long?

No Douglas listened to the count even hit the canvas in anger that he got caught and then continued kicking Tysons ass

    Tyson people :-(

  5. Mike Tyson was a ****ing coward

who paid Lennox Lewis 4 million dollars

and a free Blow to ensure Lewis don't beat the **** out of him during the mid 90's

Tyson ended up broke cuz of high cocaine usage along with prostitutes

He ended up needing Lewis in the early 2000's to pay off debts to the IRS

He got brutally exposed and beaten to a bloody pulp

he begged Lennox for a rematch

and attempted to wipe blood off Lewis's chin

that was your blood ****** mike

Lewis beats any version of Tyson

and make the ***** quit on his stool

Tyson got a glass heart and a glass Dick

    Lewis broke both

    Lewis destroyed Ruddock

knocked him down 4 times and ended his career

Tyson went life and death with Ruddock

    for two entire fights

and got exposed and beaten half to death

    Tyson said

'ruddock's punches were like getting kicked by a mule'

    Lewis said

'i didn't even feel one punch'

  10. instead of using words like

    Troll

    moron

    ******

    idiot

why not back up your ******ed opinion with some insight

    Explain why Lewis

    was able to destroy Ruddock

    in 2 rounds

when Tyson can't do it in 19

It wasn't like Ruddock was old

**** was all within 1-2 years of each other...

Don't even say Styles make fights cuz Tyson was a brawler

    Ruddock was a brawler

Tyson shoulda ko Ruddock within 4-5

Don't let your hatred of Lewis and your nut hugging of Tyson
blind you to the truth bro

Lennox Lewis dominate any version of Tyson

Tyson had a glass heart and have the bad habit of blocking uppercuts
    with his chin

a horrible combination when dealing with the lion

No, he won by ko'ing Tyson so the ref made the right decision. And I'm happy for Douglas he was a huge underdog, his mother died before the fight and he did what was seemingly impossible and beat Tyson, it's a Rocky story how can you not enjoy it?

After spending a few years in prison rusting away, Wouldn't you pay step-aside money if you were a fighter that no longer had it and was expected to go up against a 6'5, 240+ pound active hungry HW?

Lewis fought a Shot fighter. And even if he had fought a mid-late 90's version of Tyson...so what; he never proved to be the same fighter he once was before prison...let alone post Rooney when he took fighting more seriously.

Is that Lewis's fault? No. Even though people will jump on him for not turning pro in the earlier like Tyson did in the 80's.
Tyson had his reasons and Lewis had his. Both were on different time tables. Both led different lives. Both were Peak/Prime at different times.

I like that Lewis was able to hold it together for the long haul. But he also didn't have the early expectations, success, and pressure placed on Tyson. And Lewis always had a constant presence in his life...his Mother.

As far as Ruddock...this was also After he fought Tyson twice. And twice he was brutally beaten up for it. So much so that Ruddock said he was never the same after those fights. He also though Tyson wasn't either which Tyson later confirmed on "Center-Stage" interview/show.
One brutal long fight...that is all it takes to take you out. Sometimes its better to get knocked out by a single punch like Lewis did (twice) than to take brutal beatings. But neither are recommended.

Douglas was on the canvas for longer than 10 seconds (I believe) but that's a moot point.

The only count that matters in the ref's count. That's it.
