Dirrell hasn't done **** to deserve a fight with Froch. Dirrell has fallen off the boxing map since he quit the Super Six.
I thought Dirrell edged the first fight but it was no robbery at all. If you watched Froch close this weekend he was looking better... that right was a lot shorter up the middle than previous along with a few other things I noticed. His team looked to be keeping his awkwardness but getting the fundamentals sharper. If the fight happened next I would pick Froch to edge it... although if Dirrell has improved his mental game I'll take him
Rematch has to happen in the states, and we all know Dirrell would beat Froch again and get the decision this time.
Who should Frochs promotor negotiate with? Dirrell has sacked his. Not sure he plans to box at all in the future.
**** off, what the **** has Dirrell done?? Oh that's right **** ALL. Why would Carl want to fight someone who runs away for 12 rounds. Kessler is far more worthy and would add to Froch's resume Dirrell adds nothing. Slick? running away like a *****, wow you guys don't know ****.
Well dirrell probably deserved to win the fight last time but he stunk the joint out so bad I don't care. Froch Kessler is a 1000x better fight
Dirrell has only fought once in well over 2 years and has no fight lined up. At best hes rusty. At worst he actually does have some issues with fighting. I dont for a second think he "faked" anything against Abraham. A fighter doesnt deliberately not fight for nearly 2 years, giving up millions of dollars just to pretend hes injured. BTW I had him winning the first fight between him and Froch.
:fingerwe all know yanks aint intrested in froch and your boy as done **** all to get a shot let alone start demanding venues. whats up is dirrell not getting paid like a mother ****er cause im loving seeing him left in the cold, why should froch want to see a lying spoiling ducking **** get a pay day wicky fatton esq and everyone loved fatton for it.
All those great potential match up with FOY potential for Froch (Kessler, Pavlik, Pascal) and you want to see him against Dirrell ?
Froch can NOT beat Ward outside the UK. And Ward aint coming to the UK to have what happened to Bute happen to him. If Ward is smart, he'll learn from Bute's mistake and take a road fight against a lesser opponent before he goes jumping into a sea full of great whites. Hope Ward learns for his own sake anyway. Froch was operating at 110% Sat, and only about 90% when he last fought Ward. Best fight for Froch is indeed Kessler, maybe Pavlik. But it'd have to be in Nottingham vs Kessler. No way can Carl duplicate that performance in Denmark. He's said he'd like to fight in Vegas, and KOing Pavlik in front of 10K Americans on HBO or SHowtime would send his stock soaring for his rematch with Bute in Montreal. Dirrelatsch. He'd make more money fighting Groves or Steiglitz/Abe winner. Dirrel has to beat someone better than Cunningham to get that fight, and he don't seem all that eager to fight nowadays anyhow.:think
**** Dirrell. He doesn't deserve a world title shot, nor should he ever be in one in the future. He has a horrible style which got him blacklisted from HBO and now Showtime and other TV companies want nothing to do with him. He's irrelevant. He's got a big mouth and yet doesn't have the heart to back what he says up. He's a loud mouth piece of **** who will probably end up financially ruined in a few years, always regretting the things he's done, but boxing won't forgive him for the negativity he's brought to the sport. Faking a brain injury in a sport as serious as boxing, where many young men die during fights, trivialized a very serious subject and he shouldn't be forgiven for that. He's an irrelevant waste. His entire career is a waste. Nobody wants to him him hold, run and spoil after talking **** for 2 months. He's the definition of a coward and deserves the lack of attention he will continue to see until he retires and saves us fans from more tedious fights. **** him. The sooner this ignorant, moronic piece of **** retires, the better.
According to language in the original S6 contracts, if a fight has withdrawn from competition due to injury or otherwise, that fight must have all bouts approved by Showtime for the duration of the tournament. Dirrel was not beaten out of the tournament. Kessler was not beaten out of the tournament. Both fighters had to have Showtimes permission to fight on during the tournament OR face legal repercussions. And MILLIONS. Not likely. Dirrel could likely fetch about 100K to fight Steiglitz. He coulda got about 1.5 to fight Bute in Montreal. He may have gotten a good payday vs Taylor or Pavlik, but the fights weren't offered(except Bute, and that was as the tournament was winding down). Nah, he could made about 200K in 3-4 fights outside the tournament had he not faked injury.
