I don't get that. some guys here are incredible dumb! first of all wladimir and vitali fight nothing alike. vitali is a counter puncher destroyer with a very mean attitude. he has a big safety approach, but he is willing to take sometimes a punch. he has great power, but not one punch ko power, he has incredible stamina and a very ackward style. in opposite wladimir is a guy who let you fight the he wants, he does everything to control the fight and keep the pace low, because his stamina is not great! he has crazy one punch ko power, a very technical boxing style and a great defense (headmovement + footwork + his reach + his jab) he has a way to big safety first approach. and he has two fight finishers (left hook and straight right.) but they are both awesome:deal
Agree with the majority of this post, but still can't see the safety first approach in Vitali. I mean it's there, as it is with most fighters but in comparison he really isn't too bothered about being cracked on the jaw if it means he can get his own shots off,he literally leaves his chin hanging out in the hope someone will have a go.And his punch output is ridiculous in the majority of his fights 70 - 80 odd punches a round etc

As big of a fan of Wladimir as I am, yes, I agree, sometimes it can become a bit tiresome to watch him "think" in the ring as he toys with his food before going for the kill. . . However, I enjoy the sweet science, and technical part of the sport, so just like Ward, Hopkins, etc. I very much appreciate his cerebral style. . . Vitali, on the other hand, wilL NOT be in a "dull" fight UNLESS his opponent is in 100% survival mode (Johnson fight). . Even then, he will be throwing 85+ punches a round. . . Vitali has the highest punch output OF ALL TIME, OF ANY HW, from ANY FISTIC ERA. . . These are two completely different boxers. . . Appreciate them both as long as we can. . . I feel Vitali's reign with an iron fist is soon to end, as he'll likely retire mid to late 2013. . . Wladimir has another solid 5 years left as long as he doesn't eat a lot of damage, and what have you. . . I seirously think Wladimir is going to SHATTER Joe Louis' record of "HW TITLE DEFENSES'. . . NOTE: I am NOT saying that he will be more of an ATG than Louis, but it's still an accomplishment that will DEMAND respect. . Also, H2H, I'd bet the left nut Wladimir shatters Joe Louis.
I'd rather watch the brothers do what they do than 99 percent of the current crop of HW, flabby,horribly conditioned fighters with records padded even moreso than the apparently padded records of either brother. It must be really brutal being a fan of HW and disliking the Kbros because it just sets you up for dissapointment time and time again. I enjoy watching them dominate, sure the era is weak but who gives a ****, it's not their fault! and it certainly isn't their fault the opposition is usually fat and talentless.
Not quite that simple. . . Cause Vitali actually has better boxing skills like reflexes, ability to "read and react", and instincts. . . Wladimir has the better foot, and hand speed, and punching power. . . They are both highly technical boxers, actually, just in different ways. But you pretty much right!! Vitali will fight you, and take risks all day.
