    froch would be handled with ease against a prime hopkins. the style would be the worst for him.

    i'd give the edge to froch over toney, but he wouldn't knock him out.

    the long reach would cause toney huge problems. he likes fighters who fall in where he can use that little pull back and hit them with the lead right counter. go and watch the fights with mcCallum. he struggled with him both times.

    i feel carl would keep it mostly on the outside and use combinations. make toney work at a pace he doesn't like ( toney had stamina issues) then come on strong late where toney wouldn't be doing much. the toughness and will of froch would see him win a close, but well earned UD.

    toney was just too up and down as a fighter in his prime. oh, and he's overrated as well. very good fighter when he's on the ball, but not great.
