Why would he want more when he's already filthy rich and is getting an opportunity to fight Floyd? Money is nice but if it's a roadblock then I'd be willing to take a paycut in order to give the fans what they want to see. Sergio was willing to take peanuts to fight Floyd. That's because Sergio knows he can kick Floyd's ass and just wants to fight him. Why doesn't Manny have the same passion, especially when he keeps telling people he "fights for the fans"?

 

Pac does fight for the fans. He also gives a lot of money to the poor. $40 million is equivalent to a 70-30 split in Floyd's favor when all PPV revenues come in all for Floyd. Yeah you can say Pac said no to $40 million. You can also say Floyd said no to $65+ million when Pac offeed him 50/50. It goes both ways.

Both fighters saying no to their offers doesn't mean both don't want the fight. It just means there's room to negotiate where hopefully both can agree.
