    Ever seen the movie "great white hype??" about that irish dude who got a big title shot just cuz he was irish, with safe opponents and had alot of build up, alot of hype and was knocked out easy...JOHN DUDDY is a cover boy fighter...like de la hoya without the actual credentials...If you go to hell and back with an old YORI BOY CAMPAS... sorry buddy, but ur average...did you see how he kept getting decked tonight in the klitschko undercard??got cut badly by a nobody, struggled..??? imagine if one of those punches was a pavlik right??? Im one of those who HATE the Idea of PAVLIK VS. DUDDY cuz honestly, who da **** did duddy beat?? bonsonte??whatever..campas???thats it?? **** no...give duddy to raul marquez or some****...or even ornelas...mayorga even...gimmie a ****in break!!! DUDDY is what it is...a DUD...he will be exposed bad and disposed....never to be heard of again...give him an ok boxer with ok power and he will get knocked tha **** out and stupid people will call it a "shocker" or an "upset"...duddy big white joke...

    Duddy is one of those really tough but very limited fighters who have good personalities and big fan bases. Hes kind of like an Irish Arturo Gatti with less skill.

    I'm not sure how much people are hyping him, but I'd be willing to bet a good sum of money that he would lose to guys like Asikainen, Castillejo, and Ghevor. Pavlik, Abraham, Wright, and Taylor all give him beatings.

    He is not HYPED . . . in fact he is not a big name yet . . . people just like him for the action he brings inside the ring.

    Fighters like Duddy, Katsidis, Juan Diaz and Pac are fighters who will always be watched by the public because of intensity. :yep

    I love Katsidis....and don't understand how anyone couldn't look forward to his fights. Is he the best skilled 130lber out there? Hell no. But he is fun to watch and it gives it everything he has. I can't wait to watch him beat up on the loud-mouth Casa

    Dont even compare the two cause theres no comparison. One has multiple titles (including a MW belt) the other is wannabe, so please dont waste your and our time on bs arguments that dont make sense.:hi:

    Duddy is considered a tough exciting up and comer at MOST.

    No one is saying he is the next big thing so dont really get the BIGGEST GREAT WHITE HYPE EVER quote.

    I would say the bloke in my avatar might have that title.I was on that hype train myself.lol

    Its kind of like white dudes aint suppose to get any props these days.Crazy.

    Wouldn't it be better to handle the Duddy-present to Abraham - Pavlik already got a name and could instead fight Sturm.

    Both would be highlight-reel KOs in the making...

    Who could pass up the opportunity to see Pavlik KO Sturm and Abraham KO Duddy? Have it all on the same card.....throw in Mijares-Montiel to make it an all unification card:yep
