    I don't get the talented bit. Bute allowed Froch to close the distance by walking straight back like an AM. He looked quite clueless. Maybe the advice from the corner was bad, maybe Bute didnt listen or maybe Bute couldnt make the neccesary adjustments. Or maybe Bute was so rattled from those bombs Froch landed that he couldnt react.

    Ultimately Bute took one hell of a beating and it will take someone special to recover. I've Said before, in another thread, that Bute IMO should move up to LHW. Its not healthy to be as drained as he is at 168.

    To the OP:

    Bute was a 32 year-old world champion with 30 fights under his belt and was considered to be one of the top 3 boxers in a deeply talented division. It's a sad reflection of our sport if we concede that a guy like that has any business still being scared of a hostile environment. Sadder still that an opponent having a winners mentality should be used an excuse for a timid performance at this level.

    I never said ANY other boxer could implement the plan needed to beat Bute did I??? I said the blueprint is there. Learn to read :patsch

    he would do better in a rematch...taking antibiotics so close to fight time can weaken you, not to mention he's a LHW who is fighting @168..
