Has Ward the courage to go fight Froch in England?

ward's not a sports team, he's a professional fighter. fighting away from home wont change anything other than resulting in an embarassing hometown loss for either froch or kessler. ward won those two fights clearly. being away from home wont flip a decision on its head. ward's in his prime and is the superior fighter, and number 1 in the division. he thoroughly beat the two guys you insist on mentioning, froch and kessler.

 

A guy you already beat, in his own country is often a guy who just beat you.

 

As a Fan I can only suggest after Watching the fight many times.. that Froch pressure towards the end had some success was only cause Ward was coasting and trying not to throw that hurt right hand...

all in all.. Ward dominated.. the 12 belong to Froch but he was made a mummy in there by Ward..

 

When fighters wins a fight 10 rounds to 2, at best for Froch 9 3, there is absolutely no need to talk about where the fight happened!!!

 

lets not forget Ward beat Froch easy with a broken hand

 

It is sport. Home advantage matters whatever sport.

It just so happens that in team sports they play home and away fixtures, virtually every case home results better away.

Just because boxing doesn't have home and away fixtures, doesn't mean home advantage disappears. It just means you very rarely get the chance to prove the huge advantage that it is.

i'm amazed how Ward's fans don't want him to travel,don't want him to fight anyone..in fact if the fight with Dawson isn't made what should he do,quit i guess,cause his fans don't want to see him fight,and more of that,they don't want to see him travel and get hurt.

 

home advantage matters much more with inexperienced, young, emotional teams, or fighters (since you insist on making the comparison i'll oblige you). andre ward is a veteran, who participated in the proverbial trial by fire when he fought, and dominated, everyone he faced in the super six world boxing classic. to not acknowledge his utter dominance, and instead elect to focus on the fact that he didn't fight outside of the U.S, is a biased preoccupation in an effort to discredit him. he beat your guys, thoroughly.

Well, since many, if not all americans substitute the word "united states of america" for "The World" I can follow you. I even think americans have something called "The World series?". Not my World mate.
Concerning boxing. Still waiting to see Ward fight abroad! I believe he has the courage. Just don't think people are willing to pay him the cash he wants. He's just not very exciting to watch.

Notthingham - Atlantic City 3464 miles
still,jOakland is closer with 1000 miles so it's safe to say not only Carl traveled far,but he has done it in another country.no yank will ever support a brit if he's fighting another yank,so that "neutral" ground BS is hilarious

 

let me make this abundantly clear, I value carl froch as a fighter more than I do andre ward. carl froch is a warrior, with toughness unequaled, unrivaled confidence and determination. I am a ward fan, but I am a bigger froch fan. this does not, however, change the facts, which are that he already handed froch a thorough loss.

don't want him to fight anyone? I dont want to see him fight kessler or froch again, why? because he already beat them. it's that simple. I would like to see him rumble with anyone in 175 pound class by the way.

oh yeah, because traveling definitely equates to getting hurt, even though he dominated every fighter you think can all of a sudden, inflict pain upon him that they didn't the first time around.
