and yes another thread on this, I didn't check how many threads there were on this **** but I don't care I'm making my own too. Easily the worst fight I have ever seen in my entire life. seriously...And you guys rather watch **** like this over John Ruiz? Why did John Ruiz get **** for his style??? his fights were 50x more exciting than this **** honestly, I really used to like watching wladamir fight when he was 100% an offensive machine. Now its like Stewart turned him into a caution first heavyweight just jabbin his way to victory, I mean his last few fights have been boring as hell. Obviously you can make an argument defending wladamir because he was fighting a stupid style and he didn't wanna look bad but man that was just plain AWFUL. I'd rather see John Ruiz or an obese James Toney **** or even a 80 year old evander holyfield than this bull****. I want those minutes of my life back and sadly we will never get them back either. NEXT WEEK = A REAL ****ING FIGHT.....CHEERS:good
I guess you've never seen Holmes fight either huh? Larry wasn't exactly lighting up the excitement meter either.
**** vazquez and marquez thats gonna be fight of the year. No way its lasting 12 rounds. These are some real mexican warriors with talent and boxing skills, not no hit and run artists.:nono This content is protected
Heh, My point was this...last nights fight was a disgrace theres no other way to say it and while Wlad used to be fun as all hell to watch. Stewart has turned him from being one of the most exciting fighters to watch in boxing to one of the most boring and saftey first boxers in the sport. That **** was hidious, and I'd personally watch Byrd or Ruiz fight and day of the weak over what we've seen of Wladamir as of late.
They used to call Lennox Lewis boring, but this fight was awful. Yeah, Larry Holmes never had a particularly exciting style, but....AT LEAST HE THREW A RIGHT HAND NOW AND THEN. I never in my life saw a fighter throw only jabs for 7 or 8 rounds....it was just awful. Also, anyone who says Wladimir is a great fighter, look at the competition. If they put him in with Lennox Lewis right now, he'd mess him up in 4 rounds...
I wouldn't put the blame on Steward. The strategy they use is the systematically break down the opponent and take him out. Steward told Klitschko to start throwing rights, he knew that the fight would not help Wlad even with a win. It is a heavyweight fight though, they can't do what the smaller guys can.
I do blame Steward. I think Manny has instilled a sense of fear into Klitschko that he didn't have before.
