    Yeah.

I would say though as a rule that not all are born with the ability to learn the techniques to improve their punch.

“There is no such thing as a natural puncher. There is a natural aptitude for punching, and that is different. Nobody is born the best. You have to practice and train to become the best.” Cus D'Amato.

Well you dont have to be cus d amato to know you have to train to become the best but even here he said ˙˙natural aptitude for punching˙˙ wich I figure means genetics. If you dont have them you cannot become a great puncher. Bobby Stewart a former boxer with experience said Tyson at 13 hit him harder then anyone before that. Broke his nose with a straight left hand

Its not really genetics but more about the natural movement of generating torque in the body, some people can naturally move their body in a synced way but cannot punch properly hence the technique element.

I think most people can be taught to punch relatively hard, but proper one punch knock-out ability shown by the likes of Julian Jackson, Foreman, Robinson, Foster etc is something you're born with. You can't develop that kind of punching power.

People need to mention accuracy and timing, also, both of which are part experience and instinct. Some people just have a knack for catching guys coming into their wheelhouse.

Bottom line, s. It's a little like asking how high is up. It's the Holy Grail fighters have chased since they wore Cestus.

That's it...the magic word..leverage. it's the reason a beanpole like Danny Lopez could crack..and other diverse physical types such as Joe Louis and George Foreman..
