    This is preposterous. Duran, the greatest lightweight who ever lived losing to Mayweather?! Study Duran and study him closely before making a thread like this. Watch something other than "no mas". Duran was more skilled than Mayweather and would beat him at lightweight or welterweight, no doubt in my mind. Duran is truly an all-time great fighter with an amazingly underrated defense. Take this bull**** thread to the classic forum. :lol:

    That would be Ray Robinson. If you want to call him the most complete fighter (arguably a bigger compliment), I'd probably agree with that.

    I agree that Duran is better/greater than Mayweather, but I can't agree that Duran is more skilled

    Not at all better. Greater atm yes but not as skilled and definitely would be beaten to pulps by Mayweather.

    stylewise the fight is bad for Duran. Duran's hope would be to land something early and build the momentum on things going his way. But if a guy controlled the action and was fast and did not fight Duran's fight, Duran could lose.

    Everyone is always all over old fighters' balls. Ray Leonard/Hearns/Hagler/Benitez/Duran rapes everyone here bla bla bla.

    Benitez would have his face knocked off by Floyd.
    Hearns would beat Floyd because of his size/power I can admit that
    Hagler vs Floyd, never happen
    Leonard vs Floyd never happen
    Duran vs Floyd, Same with Benitez. THE STYLE IS COMPLETELY WRONG. Duran's style is tailor made for Floyd's. For heaven's sakes if Duran got frustrated with Ray's style, imagine what Floyd's style would do to the man. Duran would be hitting air all night long, eating those rights and getting his face busted up like Tyson when he fought Lennox.

    We aren't talking about a 147 Mayweather. We're talking about a 135 Mayweather, who was in his prime owning fools up with his reflexes/speed. Duran would want no part of it.

    Duran would make it a decent fight but it would be a landslide victory by Floyd. Possibly a 11th-12th round tko.

    Floyd would run rings round Duran who i agree is one of the greatest, but mayweather would be for too slick and skillfull. Duran would miss all night long! and people foget Mayweather is certainly up there with the best of all time in any era. the guy has never been beaten and is sheer class!
