I've always seen it, but most people here wouldn't have it. Khan was beating Maidana and KO'ing Judah, everyone saw him as a night mare for Hatton. It's always been the opposite!

    1. Hatton has faster feet than Khan does.
    2. Hatton had the chin to survive Khan's shoe shined punches.
    3. Khan slows down after six rounds, Hatton doesn't.
    4. Khan has 0 inside defense. Hatton had great inside offence.

Maidana got to Khan, and Maidana is an Asylum Seekers version of Hatton.

Theres 2 ways to beat Hatton
    a) You need to completely overpower him like pacman did
    b) or slowly disect him bit by bit like Mayweather

Khan can do neither of the above.
Bradley doesnt have the power IMO to keep Hatton off him, he doesnt have the one punch power of a pacman. And Hatton certainly wouldnt be intimidated by Bradley
Maidana is not very skilled IMO...he couldnt even finish Khan

Hatton did push Mayweather for 10-11 rounds, i dont think Khan has got the skill or the balls or the chin to keep Hatton away, Roach or no Roach.

    *Controversial Quote*
Khan would probably last longer against a Mayweather than he would against Hatton

There is only one Hitman, even though he hated the name. Ricky should have been called the Manchester City Cobra

Oh dear. But plenty of boxers have the same name?

But I agree, in Britain there's only one hitman aswell ;)

As the years roll on, Hatton will be looked back on more fondly.

He was a killer in the domestic scene, he put people away and put them away well, he took their souls. And he fought with pride in the Mayweather and Pacquiao fights, laid it all on the line and fought with his heart on his sleeve, what more could you ask from a boxer who isn't technically superior nor does he have the physical advantages? He essentially had ****ing raptor arms.

Even after the Mayweather loss, Hatton was one of the big names in bolxing, its the pac loss which really really hurts Hattons

Is that why he refused to face his biggest domestic foe TRIPLE domestic champ Junior Witter?

Whilst i echo your sentiments Ricky wasn't ****. Iv been his sternest critic on these boards for years but the kid was world class. Albeit he picked and choose his way to the top much the same way Joe did. Both he and Joe were SN's number one comfort fighters.
At the end of the history will remember Ricky for what he was. A blue collar club fighter who did extraordinarily well out of his limited ability.
No 'great' fighter can have as many defences as Ricky did against African road sweepers and fringe cab driver titlists no one heard about or cared for. He was given the silver spoon treatment and his baying 'fans' fell for it hook line and sinker. The reality is if Ricky was put in with a decent test in his physical prime for a fact the SN and Hatton gravy trained would have stopped. There was a good reason why Ricky was successful and it was because of his drawing power and the money he made himself and his promoter. Half a mil a time for WBU defences at the M.E.N was bloody good business. And didn't Ricky know it.
