What does Froch recent kayo tell us about Kesslers chin?

Kessler was taking the fight to Froch.

Clearly you didn't watch Kessler/Froch if that is your take on the fight. Also, the bolded is one of the most tired, cliche excuses in all of Boxing along with "he was off-balance, weight-drained, or (my favorite) that punch woulda KOed anybody". Bute was hurt by every ****ing punch that landed, even the Jabs. It is clear beyond a shadow of a doubt that he has no Chin whatsoever.

 

Yes and he was hit often, but he never gave Froch the chance to really load his shots.

Kessler proved that he has a good chin in that fight no doubt. I'm just saying that he wasn't hit as hard as Bute was. And as repeatedly.

Kessler is a tough fighter who put up a great performance against Froch. I have a lot of respect for both men.

 

The thing is Bute looked messed up from the opening bell and with froch's lunches I could see determination and Bute just froze and was like a lamb to the slaughter knowing he was gonna get KTFO.......... in addition to him having a seemingly shut chin

Carl was like a man possessed the way he was swinging at bute he would probably have knocked all of the guys he previously fought since pascal out the way he was fighting that night (is he connected etc)

 

Let's be honest, watch the "knockdown" in replay a few times, he gets caught with a nice short shot from Green, but there is no wobbly legs or antyhing
then he gets hit with a body punch and then pushed so he slips. He is instantly up. Imo. he did not get knocked down, it was combination of taking a good
shot and getting a push.
I read other posts about how Kessler was all unsteady until the end of the second round, rubbish. He shook green already seconds later with a right
and a left hook in the same round.
He got hit harder when he fought Sartison, and still did not go down.


Regarding what Bute took, no one except Taylor got hit with similar flush punches as Bute. Actually I think Bute takes quite a shot, problem with him is
his recovery time is very bad, so infact he never recovered from being hurt in the 3rd. But quite a few of the punches he took would have put other guys
on the floor, speaking of the barrage at the end, which was flush shots he did not see coming and probably would have knocked out even the best.

Many fighters with great chins has been knocked down.. I would also add that the Kessler KD was a bit controversial, since Kessler rolled around on the floor after being in a clinch with Green and he got up while smiling...
