It's ridiculous to even compare Khan to Gamboa .
Gamboa is the best prospect we have in the sport , Khan is a decent prospect with a suspect chin..........a World of difference .

Gamboa's got a number of years on Khan so Amir's got plenty of time to catch up. That said, I see Gambo achieving more over the course of his career, in large part due to Khan's chin.

well Gamboa has been floored before so whats to say he has a good chin? Any way if Gambo was to step up to lightweight khan would beat him. (I'm not saying gambo should step up yet.)

" No doubt Gamboa is an amazing prospect. Maybe even better than Khan and I'm a huge Khan fan. But you're going over board.

Gamboa is 26 a fully grown mature man with over 400 amatuer fights. Khan is 21 with very little senior amatuer experience maybe only 20 including the Olympics.

Edwards beat Freddie Norwood by DQ it wasnt a WIN by UD or KO. Norwood was was DQed for contraversial low blows. Norwood is 38 and was on 6 year lay off making a coming back against no bodies in 06. So apart from that Edwards record is just as bad as any of Khan's opponents. In fact, St. Clair is much better opponent than Norwood. "

Gamboa's team do not have time on their side to choose weaker opponents anyway, Khan's do.

Gamboa tripped/pushed - not a legit KD of it wasn't for the incompetent ref in the fight vs. De Jesus...

Gamboa is already several levels better than Khan could ever hope to be in his prime.
