    This. Though you're talking about three of the top five greatest defensive fighters ever. There's a legitimate argument for any one of them. Locche might be the greatest, actually. Though I'd go with Pep for sheer insane longevity, stats and numbers.

    I expected to see this when I opened the thread. just not within the first 2 posts. Pep had the best defense.

    Sorry, its not even close to me. Whitaker. But I think Floyd has a better mix of defense and offense simultaneously.

    I think there is a difffrence in having the best defense and being the best defensive boxer.
    Of the three I think Pep was the best at not getting hit and therefore has the best defense. However, being the best defensive boxer means being able to not only avoid being hit, but being able to turn that abillity to not get hit into offensive production. I think Whitaker and Mayweather are better than Pep.
