is wladimir closer to the pound for pound top 10 after lat night. i moved him up from 15 to 12 because although the fight was not impressive it was still a dominating win over a heavyweight belt holder.

Sultan was not even regarded as a pound for pound fighter so beating him on points doesn't help your case - I told it was a low-moderate risk/low reward fight for Wlad.

Yes, he is. He should be just outside the top 10 right now, if not 10. If we're punishing every fighter who fought in a boring fight yet dominated, there's a hell of alot of revisionist history that would need to get done with Hopkins and Winky's rankings.

    that's right.

do you people want to be entertained with a ber in your hand or can you appreciate a talented fighter who needs to make concessions to his entertainment value so he can front up for his next fight?

    that's really the question here.

I agree. Just because it's boring doesn't mean it's not a good performance. Sultan respected Wlad so much he did nothing to try to win the fight. Wlad did what he had to do. Wlad just seems to get better with every fight. Incredible jab and he comes in tip top shape.

its nearly impossible for a heavyweight to make it on p4p lists...unless their weight is low and they are very dominating, a la Tyson
