I'd be inclined to agree with you if Jones hadn't chosen to humiliate so many of his lesser opponents with his show-boating antics. It didn't reflect well on Calzaghe to humiliate an ageing jones but if it had to happen to someone.........

Calzaghe and its not even close.

Calzaghe had all the toys at his disposal including decent power before his hands started playing up on him.

    Based on record:

    Calzaghe > Froch > Eubank

Who knows how Eubank would have done against the best fighters in the Super Middleweight division but we'll never know as he was happy staying in the UK fighting for the fledgling WBO belt.

People go on about how Calzaghe (and I love Calzaghe) vs Froch wouldn't be close, but Calzaghe loved a tear-up. I challenge anyone to say different. If Froch had fought Calzaghe when he was his mandatory I could see Calzaghe going to war with Froch and realising too late that Froch's chin couldn't be moved. It's a real possibility that Froch would have stopped Cazlaghe through accumulation in my opinion, whereas I think Ward is more of a thinking fighter and realised that he had to handcuff Froch.

Just imagins a super 5 tournament with all them names in it... Be ****ing carnage..

I like all them boxers for differnt reasons but you would have to say Joe.C he unified the division simple as that..

The most respected boxer would be Froch he has been brilliant value over the last 3 years..

Froch IMO. People go on about Calzaghe but the depth of top quality fighters that Froch has fought is on another level to Calzaghe, or any other British SMW for that matter.

Has to be JC all day long....

and on a side note.. I loved him when he was around but no one can argue with froch.. Most exciting british fighter at the top of his game at the moment!

That said Fury is exciting... but hes got a long way to go and only exciting because of his flaws!

Taylor was already destroyed by Pavlik and Froch was losing that by mile until Taylor did his usual trait of blowing out his ass in the late rounds, Pascal is an average fighter that acheived nothing at SM, the Kessler fight he lost and Bute has been overrrated for years and protected.

Its ridiculous that he even got one vote on here

Why do people bother regurgitating this as fact? At the start of the 12th taylor was bright, up on his toes and going at Froch....It was only after Froch had caught him with a creamer straight down the pipe about a minute into the last that Taylor started to look troubled, nothing to do with gassing.
