Pavliks got a lot of grit and determination and like Bute he gets stronger after the middle rounds.

Ward had showed in most his fights that he'll sweep the first 5-6 rds, then fade.
Not saying Kelly would get him, likely not, but Kelly would be stronger after 8 and Ward would be in defensive mode. And tbf, I think Pavlik has slightly better boxing skills than Froch. He aint slick, but he's got more that a 4 shot arsenal.

I hold out some hope for the Garcia training, but yeah..... Andre Dirrell too. Jack Loew gave his heads up before the tourney that he was going to be better than people though. Matured a lot after Froch. I think he learned his lesson. Time will tell with him.

can he though? i know he'll scream for those fights but i think stevenson and pavlik HAVE to fight each other.. the winner being catapulted into a big fight with one of the names you named.

pavlik has a lot to prove since his come back.. i am a fan and would hope he'd beat stevenson if they fought.

Ward is my favorite fighter, but he couldn't stop Green or Miranda. Neither of those guys have anywhere near as good as chin as Pavlik in my view.

Though I do think he'd win every round.

From what we've seen of Kelly, I'd give Stevenson a good shot at beating him.

I think a lot of those guys would agree to fight Pavlik tomorrow if the fight presented itself.

Pavlik is a big name, has no trouble get an HBO/Showtime slot, and is seen as past his best. I think those guys would see it as an oppurtunity to get a big payday and a win.

There may be some complications as far as the European guys go with Pavlik traveling and such that could possibly prevent a figh from happening but if someone was willing to travel I think any of those fights could happen.

Stevenson is an exciting fighter who is on a good run but he doesn't carry the clout that Pavlik does. He's a lot of risk and little reward and thats why guys like Rodriguez and Oosthuizen aren't willilng to fight him even in an eliminator.

He's doing what he has to by staying busy against solid opposition but I don't see many bigger named fighters fighting him at the moment.

it'd be exciting but if Pavlik has anything left he should win by brutal KO here. Would love to see this fight. I hope Kelly gets back in there with someone legit soon to gauge where he's at and if a comebac is possible.

Stevenson is a good reward since he comes with a Showtime contract...

I've just lost so much faith in Canadian fighters. Molitor got smashed, then Bute....I'm hesitant to get on the Adonis train.....

Stevenson is far from all time great material. But he is interesting to watch. You don't have to get on his train.

Bute got so much respect not only because he is a good boxer, but more so because he is humble. Just like Jewsky, Côté, Bizier.

I would rather see him fight Dirrell or AA.

Pascal is doing pretty good, beat a top 10 P4P fighter and only lost to an ATG and a current champ.

I'm with you man, usually I pick'em but when it comes to Canadian fighters I tend to get blinded by Nationalism and the hope that for once we can have an elite champion!!! I made the dumb ass mistake of picking Molitor over Caballero and even predicting Bute as a future top 5 p4p fighter and Lemieux and as future MW champ :patsch:patsch:patsch I heard the detractors loud and clear and they made sense but I ignored it. Never again....to be honest though even before the Bute fight I wasn't big on Stevenson, he got sparked by Boone and he just ain't worldclass IMO....exciting but not worldclass, Pavlik would kill him if he has anything at all left. I watched most of Stevensons career over the last few months and coming up he looks like a poor mans Jean Pascal with less speed and skill.
