There was a lot of speculation about Pedrosa taking something during the McGuigan fight.

The way Pedrosa seemed to be revived between rounds after taking a lot of punishment was even mentioned by the fight commentators.

    Yeah, there was.

Was Pedroza a weight drained bantam who was revitalised by a move north to feather? Or a lanky and chinny bantam made big by 'roids and kept strong by amphetamines? ;-)

Would the gear in Pedroza's day be slick enough to evade urinalysis though? :think

I honestly wonder why Bradley gets himself into this kind of shape. He claimed before his last fight to have 3% bodyfat, which is probably inaccurate on his part, and massively unhealthy if true but it seems strange to me that he was even interested in that as a gauge of his condition.

To me a classic boxers physique is something along the lines of Pernell Whitaker, or a Ray Leonard. I can't see how a guy looks like Bradley without either making a special aesthetic effort (i.e. elements of bodybuilding) or some chemical help. If he's cutting like a bodybuilder, it surely MUST be detrimental to his performance. I know he's a vegan and so he probably keeps a lower bodyfat anyway, but I've never seen a boxer look like that. Dunno, just theorising. Maybe he is just THAT gifted genetically.

My old flatmate had a body like Bradley's, but he had to put serious work into his diet and conditioning. It really made no difference to his fitness though, even he admitted that. It was purely aesthetic.

Yeah, the only people I've ever seen look like that are bodybuilders/aesthetic types, who really do put themselves through the mill to look that way in terms of what they eat, what they supplement with and how they train. Training for an elite level fight AND putting so much effort into getting that ripped seems like a bridge too far to me considering the differences in methods. Just opinion though. No doubt his diet is clean as whistle without dairy or animal fats, so that could be behind it.

Well it says he agreed to one. Either A. they didn't take it in the end B. he passed it and it just doesn't say so in the boxrec piece.

Stoned at around 3am last night, I emailed the Nevada State Athletic Commission to find out if they would send me a list of athletes who had been granted a therapeutic use exemptions in Nevada in the last 12 months.

I actually received an email back from Keith Kizer simply saying "We do not create or keep an such list".

I hope he has got news after promising it about 2 weeks ago that came to nothing, the more it goes on you get the feeling that he's a VADA propaganda machine.

He was the first to release the stories about Peterson and Berto who both failed VADA testing so he had to have got him info from someone involved with them, he was also spouting about the USADA not doing CIR testing and being backed up by Conte which they (USADA) released a statement denying it which he seems to have forgotten about.

I do hope he comes out with something revealing and proven but I'm not holding ly breath.
