Thanks for the memories Shane. Glad you got some big time money in big time fights at such a late age for boxing. Hoping your ex-wife won't steal all your hard earned money. Happy retirement.

Unlike Floyd SSM ducked no one. He has to be rated higher than PBF IMO. Super combo puncher, granite chin, created the term power boxing.

Legend and all round nice guy, apart from PED allegations.

Does anyone else realize that Mosley didn't do much after beating De La Hoya the first time?

I honestly think so, too. That's part of what made Shane so easy to admire!

    He DARED to be great!

He didn't give a **** about his "0". He really just wanted to mix it up with the best to prove himself. Turned out there were more guys out there that could beat Shane than I would have guessed, but he ****ing wanted the tough challenges!

Well if you're referring to signature victories, he still had another in Margo. And if you're referring to daring to be great by consistently taking on great challenges, you're wrong altogether!

He had a great career. My second favorite fighter ever.

His KO of Mayorga was epic. Didn't think he would top that one when when he fought Margarito next. Was wrong.

I Would have loved to see him fight Trinidad, Tsyu before he moved to Welterweight, and Ike. Other than that he fought them all.

Good for him. He had a great career, and went out with a solid preformance. Even if he didn't win.

And he also had something to prove and overcome from the reputation he'd developed (fairly or not) following the Trinidad fight.

You better find someone less skilled than Guerrero. Guerrero is new to the weight but since he is a better boxer than Mosley it wouldn't matter.

I'm a fan. I'm not here to pour it on but in Shane's case they are not allegations. Clearly he took PEDs.

Now the name belongs to me.

At last, he should have called it a day after trashing Margo.

    Good luck to him.
