Floyd should definitely fight at 154.

Its the fact he fought for a jmw belt, if u can't fight in the division then don't do a catchweight to get the belt

 

1. Fight night weights are not official. Fighters often step on the scales with clothes and shoes on.

2. Pacquiao was carrying much the leaner weight on the night.
Marquez you could still tell had a little bit of flab on him.

Marquez is not a welteweight by any means. :nut

 

Unless you are an IBF fighter there are no same day weigh ins and even those are done in the morning so you do not know the actual weight at fight time.

Pac came in at the weight he did because he expected to be the bigger fighter.
He was quite shocked when he realized Marquez was bigger.

 

1. So JMM had 9 lbs shoes and shirt since he is a 140 lb-er? And Pac was wearing absolutely high-tech lightweight material that it registered 0 lb on the scales? :rofl

2. Even if it was 2lbs of fat to make them even at 148lbs each (unlikely), it STILL MEANS THAT HE AND PAC ARE OF THE SAME WEIGHT.

2 pounds is not really bigger but i agree. Marquez was 144 against Katsidis. The he bulked up to 150 and now he looks too be carrying unnecessary muscle. He looked a bit slow and uncoordinated(just a tad bit) in his last fight.

 

How is that getting owned ?
Pacquiao getting a boxing lesson = owned.
Marquez was a LW. Of course people thought he would be the smaller man.
People were wrong. I knew they would be similar size but i did not expect Marquez to weigh more, even if it was just 2 pounds.

People with common sense knew that they were always coming in on nearly identical weights during fight nights REGARDLESS OF THEIR WEIGHT CLASS that even if Pac were to weigh at 148 (which he usually does) it shouldn't be an issue since JMM weighed in at 145lbs vs Katsidis.

This proves 3 things:

1. Pac's frame is defitely best at LWW. He is a small welterweight.
2. JMM and Pac are of SIMILAR body frames that weight will never be an issue between them during fight night.
3. divac was owned. :deal

 

Marquez chose to weigh in than 150, does not make him naturally bigger than pac dumbass.

 

floyd has proved with his fight night weights that he to is also a small WW:deal

At least Pac made weight for his fight with Marquez. Gayweather was over the limit.
