Name a fight when you wanted the underdog to win sooo bad...

    Mine is,.. Gatti v Mayweather.

I wished Gatti would find a MONSTER left hook to land on Mayweather's chin.

But some how he lost his mind and tryed to "box" Mayweather:patsch
I wished he would of tried to brawl first, chances are he would of lost anyway. But
he would of land SOMETHING.. BTW I don't hate Mayweather. I just love Gatti.

Ok who is your underdog fighter?:bbb

    Mine is also Gatti-Mayweather.

    Gatti's chances were very slim.

But with McGirt stupid game plan he had no chance at all..

Putting Gatti trying to box Mayweather.

Has to be one of the dumbest game plans ever.

    **** you McGirt.

Peter McNeely vs Mike Tyson. I so wanted the Hurricane to smash Mike after getting out. I figured Peter would take advantage of the ring rust and just go in and punish Mike.

It was box and survive a while or go hell-for-leather And get really damaged.

While Gatti was the underdog, there were many critics of Mayweather that thought Gatti's pressure, toughness and punching power would give Mayweather a tough test. It was also one of Floyd's first fights above lightweight and Gatti seemed to be comfortable there and on a winning streak after coming back down from 147 when he challenged DLH.

Classifying him as a no-hoper is disrespectful to Gatti and especially Mayweather's tour de force performance that night.

A no-hoper would be something like Tyson vs McNeeley. Two world class fighters in the ring does not qualify.

Another quality post from Liceman :-(

I'm shocked you're still around after the vicious mauling you absorbed at the hands of Headbanger the other day

Wasn't exactly a no-hoper, but I really wanted Wayne McCullough to knock Hamed's block off.

Nobody is without hope at that level.

    Just ask Jake LaMotta.

    Well, I meant no disrespect.

At the time almost every hardcore boxing fan said he was doing to lose...
Even guys who have major love for Gatti...like me.
