Pavlik over looking Sigmon for Froch?

I wish Kelly the best. I actually gave lopez the fight by a point a year
Or two ago. He does have a chin, and with focus he can be a top
contender, honestly Pav will have to be in the best shape of his life
To beat froch. Id love to see pavlik vs bika. Thats a test right there.
Kelly stunned me back in 07, then got stunned in 08. Hes been
through a lot if hes hungry he can make it to the top again.

 

Pavlik needs to win a few fights before he starts talking about Froch. Show some consistency in training and making it to fight night. Too many pullouts and no-shows over the past four years have destroyed Pavlik's credibility.

 

I cant remember who it was, but there was like 2 non Pavlik fans who said They think he needs too Bums to KO to get his confidence back. I still Like the Route they are going regardless. I mean they definitly could have put a TOP 20 SMW in there with Pavlik, but they thought Aaron Jaco was gonna give a few more rounds so Now we have "Cujo"

 

I don't think it matters if he is. . . Pavlik could take shots between each round, and have him out of there by the 5th.

 

I remember Hermit said he thought he should be fighting someone like even Abraham instead of Sigmon when the fight was first announced. At first I thought that was to much to fast, but I think he might be right now. Another thought is that Pavlik needs to work on some of the things he is doing now with Garcia. I think its going to work out good for Kelly, its just I am getting impatient.

 

I hear ya.

He is looking much better/healthier/happier again now that he's out there with Garcia, but like you said, that makes one want to see him against better opponents again.

But hey, he's head lining FNF's this week, and maybe the show overall will give us all a new shot of optimism. :good

 

Froch is not a guy which Pavlik can beat. Pavlik is a good fighter, but he usually relied on fighters who liked to brawl and got tired and he finished them when they got tired. Froch has fought them all and is consistent. He would beat Pavlik by decision.

 

i think froch is prolly the most winnable world class fight for pavlik. . stikk woul favor froch, of course.

I believe Froch has better technical skills, but Pavlik has greater
power, and heart, ie he has been in wars like martinez. I thought
After the Hopkins schooling Pav would try to become a more
Scientific boxer but you are who you are. I believe Pavlik has or
had more talent than Froch. Froch could give Kelly a boxing lesson,
but Frochs skills are light years behind Hopkins. Kelly could ko
Froch, but I agree that fight will never happen. I look forward
To kicking back and watching Kelly get a ko on Friday though.

Pavlik needs a top 15-20 type fighter before jumping back into the thick of things......give him a Magee or Davis and see how he fairs. I wish him the best and hope he doesn't make the mistake of hopping back into the fire after destroying a few cans that did nothing to help him.

 

Ill take Magee. Davis is never gonna be anything! Look what Bika did to him for 10 rounds. But at the Same time Davis might give some rounds.

 

Pavlik will fight nobody. He will pull it off and keeps ****ing fool around. Eventually, he will get "Fool Around of the Year" reward.
