IBF asking Pavlik to face Stevenson!

    Not sure if I'm late with that but the IBF send a letter to Pavlik's team to ask if they were interested in facing Adonis Stevenson for a title eliminator (for Froch's new belt).

    They have until Friday 5 pm to accept.

    Seems like no 3 (Edwin Rodriguez), 4 (Arthur Abraham), 6 (Thomas Oosthuizen) and 7 (James DeGale) have all refused IBF's proposal.

    He's stopped mentioning Jr. and 160 in his latest interviews.

    Not sure if Top Rank wants this fight for Pavlik. I don't see Kelly varying from the script they lay out now that they have given him a second chance.

    Pretty much the same stuff I said in the FIRST THREAD ABOUT THIS.

    WHat is that script Herm? I'd really like to see them take this path. It is doable. I guess it may be a little soon for their taste, but if the goal is to get back on top, and not to just prolong his career and make money.........

    it would be a very good fight.

    I dont know who would win to be honest,

    Adonis is extremely powerful but Pavlik is still a veteran and a world class fighter regardless of whats going on in his life.

    This is a fight where i dont feel comfortable betting on any fighter.
