if the event flops, that would be good for boxing. Unfortunately, more people are going to be ripped off by being sold a mismatch as a legitimate fight. Fights like this are hugely damaging to the integrity of the sport. This fight helps the Klitschkos. It doesn't help boxing. As long as the Klitschko brand is boosted, **** everything else, right? Disgraceful. This is the equivalent of Mayweather fighting someone like Denton Vassell in his next fight.
I think the opponent is fairly irrelevant for this one. He's going back to Kiev to put on a farewell performance in front of his own people, and I don't think he should take any risks at this stage. Imagine if the injury he picked up in the Chisora fight were more serious and he'd had to quit? Best not to chance it with a more dangerous opponent
