PBF is the smartest self promoter that ever existed in the game. He has turned his heel persona into his greatest asset. He has learned from wrasslin that everyone loves to hate a bad boy and has ran with it. He has created as many haters as fans who pay more to see someone Shut PBF up and get KTFO. love or hate him the guy is brilliant

Everybody wants to wittiness when somebody for the first time knocks Floyd out cold.

 

I have to tell the casuals on my job when manny is fighting( some of them are fans of his) but I never have to tell them when Floyd is fighting, and to me that's priceless.

Because PBF knows his audience as good as any promoter or match up expert. PBF can announce a fight versus a bag full of dog sh!t tomorrow and he will get PPV buys out of it (and hot dog, shirts, gloves, etc).

Didn't have to read too far down to get the answer. This, and he can sell a damn fight. Popularity (or the hope for a defeat) aren't the only factors in selling PPVs, yet a lot of people thinks that's what counts.
