Pacquiao won, period. There was NO robbery. It should've been close no matter who you had winning, but I scored it live and another time after. I saw Pacquiao winning both times. I am no "*****", "*******" or "fanboy" of any kind. I am a big fan of Juan Manuel, but he did not do enough to win that fight. He did enough to make Pacquiao look ordinary, but styles make fights and the style of Marquez makes Pacquiao look bad every time.

Can anyone say Ken Norton to Ali? Ali was able to pull out close decision wins against his style nemesis. Ali deserved the decisions he got against Norton, yet some debate those. When the underdog does way better than expected, people cry robbery. Pacquiao won. Get over it!

Another thing, people keep saying that "everyone" thought that Marquez won or that "anyone who knows boxing knows Marquez won", well out of 144 people who saw the fight, this is how they saw it.

None of the above scores for Marquez or a draw is from Mexican media/boxers.
None of the above scores for Pacquiao or a draw is from Philippine media/boxers.
Among the unofficial scorers above, 57 scored the bout for Marquez, 51 scored the bout for Pacquiao, and 36 scored the bout a draw.

Not much of a robbery. More like a close, debated prize fight. Now go to sleep, children.

Fighters and trainers are the best judges, after all. :patsch This list is not one that I took the time to create, rather a list from boxrec.com. I have no invested interest in either of these fighters, I like them both. Your point here, a rather weak one I might add, is that since you've never heard of most of these people, that their cards are no good. Well, who the hell has ever heard of divac? I don't know, but he had Marquez winning. You just disproved your own logic, or lack thereof.

    Exactly.

Only *******s are in denial of this. Its not the cards that are the real issue. It is the fact that it was a huge event ,and the only way JMM was ever going to be allowed to win was by KO, and even then you would have to think that Arum, would try to look for a DQ to protect his cash cow.

    I concur with this take.

It was a close fight, Marquez definately had a good case for the win, but the reaction to the decision was way overblown due to Marquez far exceeding expectations/Pac not fighting or being able to hurt Marquez as he was expected to and some of the good work he did do was missed or ignored, while everything Marquez did was easily seen with all sentiment on him

Marquez won because he got the vote of the popular judges/boxing figures:hey
Anyway, bradley will knock out pacquio for you which marquez never achived in 3 tries:yep

I predict bradley will KO pacquio in round 8.

I see a bunch of names of writers who scored for Marquez that were around before boxing forums were around.

The names that side with Pacquiao on your list are just fans from boxing forums who have no real knowleadge of the sport or its history.

For Gods sake Skip Bayless who you have as one who scored for Pacquiao does'nt know a jab from a hook and he's the bud of all kinds of ridicule in boxing forums like this for attempting on ESPN TV to debate on the subject of boxing. Skip Bayless does'nt know jack **** about the sport.
You might as well ask your average 3rd grader how they scored the fight.

I can tell you why the Judges gave that to Manny, look at the odds on the fight, look at the audience in attendance what were the chances that the mexican fans put money on pacquiao? with those type of Odds I wouldnt be surprised of the Flips put a little money on Marquez as well.

there's been bigger robberies but imo you couldn't make a case for Pac winning more than 4 rounds.....I had it 9-3 so yeah it's arobbery but not of the Campillo vs Cloud/Abril vs Rios/Lara vs Williams calliber.

I just highlighted it right there.
*******s feel better and brace on to the fact that there's been bigger robberies in the past, and because there's been, it does'nt make Marquez-Pacquiao 3 one! :nut:nut:nut

The first thing I did after Marquez-Pacquiao 3 was completed was voice my scorecard 10-2 to Marquez and exclaim, "I could not find one clear round to give to Pacquiao!"
