yeah lets use your size for as you say quick and powerful destruction lol..how many super heavyweights actually used their size for quick and powerful distruction (and i mean against other decent heavyweights)..being that big dosnt mean you get to walk through everyone in boxing if you go out against a good opererater and try to blow him out of the ring the smaller and quicker guy will make you miss then knock you the **** out..you cannot be serious with this ****ing statement..what the **** are use guys getting that lazy use doint even try anymore??
So what's Wlads excuse when he carries **** poor opposition into the later rounds? The likes of Mormeck should be blown away inside 2 rounds
i find it amusing that people sat on their arse typing on a computer think they can decide whether a fighter will be great or not! its solely down to the fighter and your opinion means **** all
...I think the Klitschko's have shown that a tall, well-conditioned mobile fighter is often very difficult to fight for a shorter guy. Not everyone has their overall ability obviously, but the basic blueprint is there. Price may or may not be all that, but he has the basic foundation in place. My only real concern at this point is that he's not young, and he has a fair amount of development work ahead...he does not have ample time to learn from mistakes, and he can't afford to get derailed for long stretches due to injury or whatever. That's something Tyson Fury definitely has over him.
wlads opposition isnt **** poor..yes like in every era he fights some shitty fights..its what happens when you clean the place out.he makes them look poor because he is two good for them..with your post im now guessing your one of these idiots who claims (bum) everytime wlad beats someone..and are you serious about mormeck.the man may be [ast his best and not in the same league as wlad.but he was a world class operater and im sure he has the experiance and boxing know how to last 4 rounds instead of two with a man of wlads outside style...geezo you guys are getting worse
im more concerned about his lack of speed and footwork..might be because he likes to sit down on his shots from the opening bell but he will grow out of that when he fights a live body....the setback your talking about shouldnt come in the ring though im guessing maloney will protect him at all costs untill hes ready for a little step up
No, he won't be "great" but he can be very good and win some big fights. We'll see. What do you guys think his major weaknesses are? I just got a handful of his earliest fights on dvd gonna review them this week I think.
The talk before his pro-debut has always been about his chin. He was stopped by Stiverne as an amateur, which is a long time ago, and then Cammarelle had him out on his feet more recently. As a pro, his chin is pretty much unproven. He was hit flush on his debut after a gumshield came out and he had turned away which doesn't suggest an awful chin, but who knows. I think a lot of the talk comes from Tyson Fury, who has repeatedly said Price has a glass chin but there isn't a huge amount of proof there and it's likely exaggerated at the least due to animosity between them two. If he has a good chin, do you think he's got the ability to be a world champion? Could he potentially beat Wlad?
So you're saying Mormeck wasn't a **** opponent well out of his depth who had it been Bowe or Lewis fighting him wouldn't have been blown away inside 2 rounds?????
Hearing Price is set to make a big announcement next Wednesday. Anyone got any ideas? Just hoping he hasn't agreed to fight Audley. Just to chip in I have followed David since the amateurs and I think he has all the tools to go a very long way. Know he used to spar with Haye and hold his own.
