    The alternative was him staying stagnant and inactive for over a year. He ultimately had no choice.

    Legally he probably could, but it would take a couple of years and he cant afford to wait.That simple.If he was 21 yrs old maybe it was worth the shot.But not at 30.

    I wouldn't doubt that Todd does more of the day to day stuff there now and he still needs to watch out for the future of the company. Don't fall for all the Arum hate. Now, if TODD has lost faith in Gamboa and sees him bolting back to Floyd, that could be a different story.

    This is such great news. . . I personally didn't care whose ****ing banner he fought under, as long as we real boxing fans are treated to seeing him box. . .


    However, it is my duty to point out to everybody that he could haev a glass jaw waiting to get shattered.

    I remember with Nonito was a similar situation but the thing that worries me about Gamboa is how close and public he was with Floyd, and that im sure pissed the **** out of Bob.

    He's probably more pissed at Floyd. Gamboa is still a hot commodity and he knows that. It's still about money. From Arum's perspective Gamboa is a kid and coming from Cuba hasn't much experience with free market systems. I wouldn't worry that much. The older you get the less this stuff matters.

    :lol: don't be "that momo" - who would rather see Arum get screwed, but in turn, having Gamboa sit out for 2+ years waiting for his contract to expire. . .


    He's already what, like 30? He needs to be fighting. . . He'll still be able to fight under "money team" one day in the future. . . If he still wants to.


    Can you imagine Pacquiao/Gamboa @ 140? EPIC. . . ****ING EPIC. . .
