Couldn't have said it better. I like watching Gavin when he's on it, but its so rare that I'm almost not interested anymore. He's really got to stop making promises and start delivering.

Witter is entitled to ask for a significant amount to face Gavin.

At the end of the day, he's the champion, and if Gavin is guaranteed X amount per fight, they're either going to have to stump up, look elsewhere or Frankie himself take short money for the opportunity.

Or go to purse bids.

I think the best thing he could do is rip up that contract and say "just get me on every bill for the next 12 months, against good opponents" and take it from there.

Without a major change, he'll just be another Audley, which would be a huge shame.

All i know is there has been a lot of time wasted for things that you cant really do much about. But i would say start trying to string together a few quality fights because things are seriously dragging and gavin has too much talent to be ****ing about with, purdy would definately be the sort of fight!

 

I got offered a decent fight yesterday so along as he accepts its on both undefeated his got a better than 50percent ko ratio could be a good fight if come off then out another 3 times this year
