Arce's a very popular fighter and hels to sell both tickets and ppv's, the more hard fights and bad beatings he takes the closer he'll get to retirement. With Top Rank wanting him to continue on as a cash cow for them for a while longer it just doesn't make sense. The result is just too obvious aswell, even Arce fans (like myself) know Jorge doesn't even stand a punchers chance with Rigo. It would just be beating him up for the sake of it, when he can fight someone else, make just as much money and continue on his career without taking a beating or suffering the set back of a defeat. That's not to say Arce is being fed complete stiffs, but they've kept him away from overly tough fighters since the Vasquez jnr bout.
