Managed to speak to Tim Bradley a few weeks ago and he is desperate to face Amir Khan after Manny Pacquiao.

Really looking forward to seeing how he does against Pacman as he sounded so confident and could have a style that works well. We know he much he struggled against Agapito Sanchez who uses his head in a similar way.

Anyway would do we all make of a possible bout with Khan. Wished it had happened when they held all the titles at light-welterweight, but would still be interesting.

The Khan fight should have happened before this one. I'd still want to see it, but it's significance will have decreased after Amir's "loss" to Peterson and Bradley's probable loss to Pacquiao.

I agree, would have liked to seen them in the ring before Khan lost to Peterson. That being said, should Bradley shock everyone then it would be a huge opportunity for Khan. One I am not sure he would deserve at 147lbs

No, no, he's already run away from Khan after being turned down by him and going on to secure a fight with the lesser Pacquiao. My head hurts, it makes no sense. Timmah scurrrrred(?).

I dont think this fight will happen. In terms of my opinion on who will win I think Tim because hes too strong and is a more complete fighter in terms of having an good inside game and a good defence too. I used to love khans style, speed but in the last few fights ive come to the conclusion that hes pretty robotic and has no inside game and most good pressure fighters will beat him.
Why i think this fight wont happen is because Tim will lose to pac and Khan will beat Garcia then Khan will try and go after the big fish rather than risk losing to Tim who wont be such a big draw anymore ( not that hes such a big draw now).

Got to agree with Pound4PoundG as I believe Bradley will push Pacquiao but just can't see him gaining the upset victory. Also feel Khan will beat Garcia and I think he would have originally looked to fight the winner of Berto-Ortiz.

Khan always talks of Mayweather but let's face it, he would stand virtually no chance of winning, but I guess it would be one serious pay day.

bradley turned down 50/50 already didnt he? lets see if he gets that same offer after he gets beat.

he also said he doubts mayweather would fight him once he beats manny and that he's 10x better than marquez. he's just doing his part and he's doing it well. the cameras have never been on him like this before and he's making the most of it. he'll give a good account of himself and come in the ring in shape as always. but this going to end one way and one way only.

    Told you guys

    Pacquiao will knock him out

then will look for another payday off Khan

Khan will offer much less than last time and everybody will say "oh Khan's ducking"

    Bull****.

Timmy just wants 2 big paydays

I bet Khan will take the fight anyway even though he doesn't want to give timmy the same money he offered before

It's just the same as before with Khan. . . If Bradley want it, he can get it!

Unless he wins, he can forget about 50/50 UK and US revenue, though. . That ****'s off the table now. . .

To me,Bradley played a blinder.Everyone said he was ducking Khan, but he knew a dangerous fight with Khan could **** it all up.He gets the retirement purse, and Khan might need Timmy more if Bradley pulls off a surprise.
Whether he wins or not,a good performance will benefit Khan as well.
And if he wins, will Khan still be a favourite as he seemed to be last year?

Really should have taken place last July.

    Timmy would have taken him.

    Pacquiao will KO/beat Bradley

After the fight They will ask Bradley "whats next for you"

Bradley will probaly not know and might challenge Khan

Khan will unify 140 in july and move up to 147

Then everybody will be fighting to get Khan in november/december 2012

Khan will probaly want his debut 147 fight in England...

People are gonna rage at Khan if he takes a mediocre fight @ 147 to test the waters...

Yeah, business wise I guess it was a smart move. . . But as a boxing fan, sometimes it's hard for me to balance the two. . . It would just be a slippery slope - allowing boxers in the future to simply justify fighting cupcakes at home, rather than taking a risk, because "it's smart business."

It all came down to Bradley not being 100% confident of beating Khan . . . If he was, he would have taken what would have probably been close to double his previous career high payday. . . Bear in mind Timmy didn't know for sure he was even going to get Pacquiao. . . If he was that confident of beating Khan, he would have taken that guaranteed 1.5 million US revenue (HBO money), and the 50/50 UK money, which likely could have been close to 1 million dollars. . .

If he would have beat Khan last July, he would have: 1.) increased his stock; 2.) increased his drawing power; 3.) made the fight with pacquiao more "mainstream fan friendly", and marketable, thus resulting in more PPV buys, and in turn, more money for him, and 4.) gave him more power at the bargaining table for a slightly higher revenue cut.

Any chance you could give me the numbers for tonight's Euromillions?

And he could be quite realistically, completely out of the reckoning for a fight with Pacquaio.
It's Bob Arum we're talking about here.

Bradley already ducked Khan and everybody knows it. He's going to get completely exposed by Pacquiao and a win over him will be worthless after that.

Amir should just move up now and fight somebody better than Bradley.
