I actually think this is a tough style match-up for Garcia and I'm surprised Top Rank let him take this fight since they lost the purse bid and do not have premium TV coverage.
Garcia probably does win either way, but I love this fight! I love watching Cabllero fight whenever I get the chance, which in the Mid-West isn't to often. Hopefully HBO or Showtime picks this fight up!
I love fights like these. Young lion vs. old lion who will present him problems. Garcia should win this, but have to adapt to a difficult style and get pushed a little.
I think this is a good fight for pelenchin as mikey is too tentative. He will be out of his comfort zone and perhaps he will get stopped.
I like this fight too. Garcia is going to make it look easy. He's cold, calculating and very accurate with this punches. He is not typical Mexican brawler, but he does have the chin and stamina that comes from that style. Mikey is the Truth!
even thought it's supposed to be on July 28th, something tells me that this fight is going to fall through.
this is a good fight. nice to see a highly rated prospect taking on a dangerous champion. but is this definatly signed sealed and delivered ? last i heard from garcia's team they were preparing for the fight but had'nt signed for it
