Thanks for the insight I will read in a few mins. Bit unconfident with picking either but hoping Manny wins though I want the person with their hand raised deserves the decision assuming it goes the distance. Would bet but I'm too scared Team Elite will ridicule my inexcusable vcash amount if I lose lol.

    :yep

Move here, we'll open a gym.

He needs to obscure Pacquaio's vision somehow and I think flicking the jab to the eyes is perfect.

First time I sparred I crossed my feet over, and the coach screamed at me. It worked, haven't done it since

I'd say Pacquiao ignore bodypunching apart from occassional feinting and jabs to keep Timmah guessing. Bodypunching means you have to lean towards your opponent and that gives Bradley more of an opportunity to headbutt which as Pacq's trainer I wouldn't want to happen. Different when throwing a jab when leaning over as Pacq's speed can allow him to get away before punching opposed to hooks and uppercuts which I would tell Pacq not to throw. Don't square up with bodyjabs!

You can all thank me for bringing this out of SJS - he was gonna get lazy on us and neglect "the breakdown" for every major fight. . .

As far as Pac's training camp, I can't really say I have much to add. . . Whether or not this newfound "hardcore spirituality" (he's always been religious) is a good, or bad thing I don't know yet. . . We'll see if his killer instinct is there or not. . .

It does appear as if Pac has lost just a split second of his explosiveness in his legs. . . We saw in the Oscar fight his best execution of lateral movement. Hopefully Ariza hit him hard for 8 weeks with "explosive" plyometric training.

Also I'm hoping Roach got Provodnikov to emulate Bradley by coming in in straight lines, but with fast bends at the waist. . provo is almost identical to Bradley build wise (not as ripped); they are very similar in height, weight, and body proportion. I think pac really got some great sparring with him, as Amir Khan is anxious to work with him. This was a great move.

Pacquiao has never really fully utilized a compelte arsenal of punches. . . Should he find himself getting roughed up on the inside, that left uppercut could prove to be a great deterrent to Bradley from jumping in. . . Bradley will be expecting the straight left all day, but NOT the left uppercut. . POP THAT HEAD UP with the left uppercut, and then pivot, and step out, and away while BLASTING HIS HEAD OFF with the right hook! That's such a great combination, and I think Manny could really utilize it.

For Bradley, I wonder if he didn't overtrain. . . I mean, we know he ran 23 miles a few days before one of his fights. . . Your body needs proper rest. . . Your liver only produces so much insulin from the food you eat to power your body. . .

But he will always have a physical edge on pretty much anybody. . . There is a huge difference between punching power, and physical strength. . Bradley lacks the former, but has more than enough of the latter. . Both are useful in boxing. . If Bradley can constantly weave his way inside, and stay there for periods of time, he WILL win this fight. . .

For me, aside from Bradley's inside game, it will come down to Bradley's straight right (more of a "looping" overhand right) vs. Pac's straight left. . . Bradley has that Salido thing going on with his overhand right. . While looping, it can often be more dangerous than one straight down the pipe. . .

I expect Bradley to win rounds, and come out with an improved stock (kind of like how Cotto's stock improved despite losing to FLoyd). . . I see some good, competitive, two-way action/exchanges, but only in spurts for each round. . In a way, it will be similar to Pac/Marquez in how the action played out. . There really wasn't a lot of punches landed, but the ones that were landed, all came from furious exchanges which made up for the long pauses between action. . .

    Pacquiao UD. Scorecards read: 116-112 x2; 117-111.

We all know that Manny is extremely dangerous at the start. If Bradley is not be careful, he'll kiss the canvas early in this fight. I think that Bradley will get the flash knocked down (s) in the first 3-4 rounds but he may not be KO'd early in this fight.

Pacman wins by the late round TKO or DQ.

BTW, Good points! Keep up your good work SJS19.

Combine my "report card" - essentially the fight on paper. . .

And SJS's technical thread. . And you can't go wrong betting on the fight.

Makes sense man. Ultimately, I agree that Bradley's head will present itself as a target often enough for Manny to take advantage.

with all due respect....if i'm timmeh or his manager...i'm firing u and looking for a new trainer.

3 months is waaay too long. he'll be stale by the time the fight comes.

things to consider...bradley already understands what needs to be done.

he needs to box in the early rounds...giving pac lateral movement and counter punch as much as possible. this will be important early on because pac is extremely dangerous in the first half of the fight.

u want to avoid exchanges and just box. keep a jab in his face...use ur feet to control distance. pac has great feet against slow footed latinos...but in this situation...i think bradley has the superior feet. get pac reaching and walk him into traps. he can be countered fairly easily.

once u have frustrated pac some and taken some of the steam out of him...then u want to switch things up and start pressuring him. it's plain and simple....pac cannot fight going backwards. he comes apart like a cheap suit. bradley will have to do this in spots and go back to boxing when pac tries his own counter attack. once bradley can consistently back pac up...he has to go for the kill. pacs defense is all in his legs. if he runs out of real estate and is forced to the ropes...he's done. bradley by ko.
