up top, he has noodle legs in comparison to his upper torso. Either way that's irrelevant as muscles don't win you fights.

Because he's all natural? Think about what Tim would look like if he wasn't all natural?

No it doesnt. It uses glycogen, and then fatty acids, and then proteins from the muscle.

Let's just say I have very strong doubts that Bradley is all natural, but if all he focused on was muscle building then he'd probably look a lot like Dexter Jackson. The man does have good proportions.

You're taking it out of context. . I meant when you're "running on empty"; when the liver is depleted of glycogen. . .

and what exactly is excess muscle?
The body only recruits muscle fibres through stimulus of that specific region, its a complex process, but the body doesnt recruit excess muscle.
Muscle that is then no longer being used, will waste, as its no longer of use, but as a fuel source its the last thing on the fuel chain

Then it will use fatty acids stored in fat, then muscle. The body will only break down muscle for fuel either during starvation or when all other sources have been exhausted.

Smh. . . Your body will use up excess muscle, in that, muscle that doesn't have calories to feed off of. . .

And no, it's not. . . Your body will feed off muscle, before fat, if it's depleted of glycogen supplies.

We're not talking about people who don't work out. You're first mention of it in this thread was in relation to world class athletes.

Your body only taps into muscle if it doesn't need it. Say, for example, you injure your knee, have corrective surgery and aren't able to walk on it for a few months. The muscle in your injured leg will deplete because your body has no need for it. However, this has nothing to do with burning more calories than taking in.

Now, I don't know who you are or what kind of physical shape you're in, but I'm guessing judging by your posts that you are a grossly overweight dweeb who lives vicariously through his compooter and has never set foot inside a gym. Nevertheless, I will give you a simple plan to follow for the next 2 weeks. Change your diet. Very restricted carbs, 10-20 grams per day max. At least 200 grams of protein per day. Maximum calories of 1200 per day. Exercise to include resistance training, although the rest between strength training days needs to be more than in the routine you've suggested. I will guarantee that you will lose fat and gain muscle after 2 weeks on this program.

You're a ****ing ******.. you need to stfu.
If you stop eating your muscle glycogen is going to be depleted, then your liver glycogen. Then the glycerol from fats are used for gluconeogenesis. Then after a longer period of energy restriction you'll use the amino acid leucine to go into the glucose-alanine cycle for gluconeogenesis. At that stage you'll be using around 75% fat and 25% protein for your energy.
What the **** do you think fat is for? According to your ****** logic we'll find fat people unable to walk in the desert because they metabolised all their skeletal muscle for energy.
Fat is stored energy for times when there is no food. You need at least 130 grams of carbohydrate each day for brain function so that is your bodies top priority. You'll use ketone bodies for gluconeogenesis and protein (AA leucine) to a far lesser extent.
I cannot believe how dumb you are and then you have the nerve to call every body else out. This is basic **** and common sense, it's you who needs to read a book.

Sure I don't know what I'm talking about.

You're here suggesting that Bradley do squats three days a week, with one rest day between sessions as sufficient. :patsch Now that's ******ed. I did that when I first started training when I was 15 after getting advice from another expert like yourself. Luckily I disregarded that shite after a month.
