Froch's level of competition before the Super Six wasn't much different than Calzaghe's WBO run.

:patsch I guess it is boring to keep being corrected, but you must be so dumb not to know the full details

Froch was offered a Calzaghe fight but turned it down.

Either way Calzaghe had left SMW in Nov 07
Ward didnt become a SMW champ until Nov 09 a full 2 years after
Froch didnt become a SMW champ until Apr 09 a year and a half after
Pascal did nothing at SMW and didnt become a LHW champ until June 09 which was over half a year after Calzaghe retired
The Dirrell brothers :patsch who have done what.

Fact is you are mentioning fighters who came to light after Calzaghe retired and even now except for Ward on that list all have a loss dating to a Calzaghe victim or victim of

Without the super six would we have had even half the fights?
Most HAD to fight for the tournament
Without super six froch, ward etc would have continued fighting unknowns
Resumes of many have been inflated by the super six idea
Shame it wasn't around for the likes of jones, calzaghe, benn, Eubanks, Bhop etc
A super six then would have easily eclipsed this lot and the resumes they now crow about
