Don't you mean all the ATG threads? And clearly Mayweather, although alot of you under rate what Calzaghe achieved
mayweathers resume is not much different to calzaghe. infact their career paths are not dissimilar. fraud has corrales, cal has lacy (and stop the bull**** that corrales is better than lacy), and sprinkling of good fighters in between. both lack career defining fights despite being both undefeated and towards the end of their careers fought opponents that were also at the twilights of their careers. going by names alone, without actually looking at the state the boxetrs were at the time of fight, calzaghe's victory over rjj and hopkins trumphs any names in fraud's resume. the mere fact that hopkins still beat pascal after that fight adds substance that he is past prime but still capable. overall, they are not so far apart in terms of atg ranking, with fraud as higher ranked. they are in the 40"s.
Come on guys, Calzaghe was obviously better. At least Joe fought (and beat) the best (like Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr.). Floyd, on the other hand, continues to duck Manny Pacquiao.
i think the better debate is where is Cal all time...top 50?:think I'm not even sure he grazes top 50
Is the thread starter trying to get Calzaghe hated on? Really can't compare him to Floyd especially if you take into account he started at super feather.
