I think compubox, Ledderman, and Atlas is what boxing needs to get rid off.

 

I honestly think the most unbiased way to judge a boxing match is to have the athletic commission of wherever the fight is taking place pull 15 random guys (without telling the fighters or promoters, thus giving no chance for judge choices to be challenged or changed) off the street a few hours before the fight who have never seen a boxing match before/haven't heard of the fighers (thus removing any potential for bias/them getting bought off), and then station 3 guys to watch on each side of the ring, with the 5th group observing the action from a glass viewer's box suspended above the ring. That way, the fight is being seen from every possible angle. Finally, at the end of the fight, each group of 3 judges hands in the decision their group reached. Fighter who wins the most group decisions wins (i.e., if at least 3 judges' groups give you the win, you've won, but if not, then it's a split/majority draw, etc.)

I hear people claim that sometimes people get a slanted view of the fight depending on where they sit, and this solution would solve that problem through numbers dilution and the fact it covers every possible perspective. The manner in which the judges are picked also makes them virtually incorruptible and totally unbiased. It's foolproof! :good:yep

 

i know what your getting at but as long as humans and money are involved it will always be open to external influence.
