WTF is going on in boxing. I find this so baffling. What has Arum to gain in making Bradley the champ?

Marquez must be ****ing pissed off.

    :huh:huh:huh

That's right. And yes, Marquez is upset.

By making Bradley the champ Arum

    1. Ensures a rematch = guaranteed money, guaranteed next opponent that ISN'T Floyd mayweather

    2. Chance to build up a new TR cashcow

    3. PAC was gonna lose eventually, its best from arums pov if it's against a young, unbeaten TR fighter, rather than Mayweather (a non tr fighter and arum enemy) or Marquez (an old fighter who can make arum no profit for winning)

Good points. It just seems a bit early for him to make a move like this. One Pac fight will generate more dosh than Bradley's next four combined probably. It's still odd.

True but Pacs contract apparently ends in 2013 (so he would theoretically have one more fight under the top rank banner - now against Bradley)

Scoring 7-5 in favor of JMM in their previous fight is OK. But, i can't see or understand on how some people here scored the last nights fight 7-5 and some even a draw. That fight should have been scored 9-3 (minimum) in favor of PAC.
