Didn't watch the fight last night... but I heard a number of drawish scorecards from fans yesterday, and I also heard that the HBO commentators were doing their usual **** slobbering bias in favor of Pacquiao. So it wouldn't surprise me if everyone present at the fight live had it a close fight, the judges for example, while most watching on TV had it wider for Pacquiao. Biased commentary can sway people's opinions immensly. In any case, I'll have to watch and score the fight for myself to pass any judgement on the outcome. I'm just glad that Pac fans finally got one shoved up their ass. :yep
who are the most biast people in any fight? the figher himself, the coach, friends and family... can anyone here say with honesty that eather of them believed that bradly one? what say you?
Had it a draw myself, but honestly I thought Pac would pull it out.. and can't see which round would be Tim's to get him 7-5. I think I had it 1, 2.. one round in the middle I can't remember and then 10-11-12 for Bradley. ESB kept crashing so some of my posts were lost and I didn't save my scores as I went.. I'll have to re-watch in HD when HBO replays it.
That is also true about the british commentary. I couldn't believe there can be dick-riding in such a degree. 'That was a good round for Bradley-Well yes, but still not enough to win it'. Anything from 116-112 Pac to 114-114 was acceptable imo. Pac didn't perform well overall, and of course not nearly as well as the commentators were making it sound.
Yeah, anyone who had it 11-1 or, 10-2 is crazy. I had 116-112 Pacquiao but as I was scoring some rounds for Pac I felt they could also be Bradley rounds. I also am skeptical of the Compubox numbers... many of Manny's punches were slipped or blocked, while the commentary would shout "Great left hand by Pacquiao!". There were more than a few times Manny would land, and Bradley would counter and connect and the commentary acted like it didn't happen.
The issue that I have with this, and will continue to have as media starts rehashing it, is that it was a robbery. That word gets thrown around WAY too much. It was a close fight, close by definition meaning really any man could win, depending on opinion, each man was scoring in their own way. It's not a robbery, not a travesty, and not the end of boxing. The only travesty is HBO's completely biased and viewer swaying commentary.
I also had it a draw, rounds 1& 2 Bradley, 3 thru 7 for Pac, 8, 9 & 10 for Bradley, 11 for Pac and the 12th for Bradley.
Yes that's 4 rounds and that's being generous. What over rounds did you give him. He did MAXIMUM deserve 4 rounds absolute max. Draw is a ****ing disgrace.
Yes it's a travesty, yes it's a robbery. Is this the end of boxing probably don't but I sure hope so. What we witnessed last night was one of the biggest robberies of ALL TIME. It don't get much worse then that.
